A small school project hosting a game of labyrinth.
This project tasked us to make a website hosting a game of labyrinth in a group of 6 people.
We had to make both frontend and backend ourselves but the hosting was provided by our school.
To start the project we made our frontend using an API set up by our school, in the later half we would need to make our own API with the same endpoints so we only had to change the API we were calling to play.
For this project I mainly worked on functionality by taking the lead on javascript and java since these were my strongpoints.
My biggest acomplishment during this project was the addition of showing tiles into a board since this required many changes to be made in both frontend and backend.
For this project I took lead to make sure development was going smoothly while also helping my peers with coding and making my own code as well.
This created some pressure for me as during our working hours at school I was sometimes running around the table to help teammates with different tasks.
JavaScript, HTML/CSS, java, APIs.
By taking the lead for this project I learned how to work together as a team and how to organize tasks according to everyones skillsets. I was able to challenge myself by refactoring code from one file to another to create reuseability if functions were reused at later stages.
